I think somewhere in the back of every blogger's mind is the dream of becoming a professional author of a book that has pages and a cover and that people pay money for.
No really. Blogging is writing. The epitome of writing is being paid for it and going to Barnes and Noble to see your head on an advertisement for a book.
Now, many of us don't have the dedication, and some of us... erm... don't have the talent. But occasionally lightning strikes the right person at the right time and we have a fellow blogger with a BOOK. And when that happens, we need to haul our asses to the local B&N and buy that book.
Martha from The Random Muse is the newest blog based author to put her pen to the paper in Ivy Briefs: True Tales of a Neurotic Law Student. If you've ever read Martha you know there's no way this isn't going to be interesting. It's about a neurotic law student. At what is said to be the most cut-throat of law schools. That school is in the freaking Ivy League, which totally means there will fun times with elitism. And it's true. There is lots of funny to be had here. With Martha's demonstrated wit, and an engaging, conversational writing style, it's a winning situation.
So, head on over to bn.com and pick up your copy soon! I am picking mine up at my local B&N tonight (simply because I only have to walk 250 steps and I'm there!) And I have to do it tonight because I have a date with a lawyer on Thursday.
Can't wait to hear about it. Let me know how awesome it is and then I'll run out and buy a copy!!
